About the project
Owned, designed and built by world-renowned architect Richard Horden this property built originally in 1975 is listed for its special architectural interest. Working for Mr Horden for the past 5 years at several of his properties in the area, we were entrusted with this project for him – to renew the flooring throughout the single storey rectangular residence as well as refurbish the two bathrooms and redecorate throughout.
Due to its listing, special attention needed to be paid to ensure the building was in keeping with the original design and scheme and in line with Historic England’s guidelines.

From construction to completion
“Gareth knocked through our separate kitchen and dining room to make one large family kitchen/living area. It looks fantastic, exactly how we wanted it to look and the standard of work was excellent. At the end of each day Gareth cleared up, vacuumed and left it serviceable for us to cook in which was an added bonus. Gareth had some really good ideas to help us along the way to make decisions and I would not hesitate to recommend him for any building works at all.”
